So I put together my first tower last night/this morning, and a hideous mess it was, too. While I got the hang of anchoring and onlining modules pretty quickly, anchoring them in neat lines to make the job of the ammo loaders easy needs work. Well, what the hell. It's all set up and turned on. I do understand better now why GoonSwarm Offensive Logistics has such a hard time attracting hammerbees. It takes about two minutes to anchor a module (lazors, guns, EW pods, whatever) and another three minutes to bring each module online. That's if the module doesn't have a spaz while you're trying to anchor it, in which case you get to stop anchoring and restart the process for that module. All in all it took me about six hours to get this towers set up.

So I didn't even bother going back to my home station since it's almost 0300 and I'd rather not lose even a wee speedy Condor. Thank God I brought that instead of the Ibis; it was nice being able to zip back and forth to the tower at 500 m/s instead of plodding along at a fifth of that.

Off to bed now. World Series later tonight. Rent payment and other things in between.

POS
Do you get to do any moon mining, or is this strictly out of your pocket?

POS can be a lot of fun, and a big pain. Got to constantly keep them fed.

Re: POS
I'm working my way into GoonSwarm Offensive Logistics. Anchoring/onlining modules (and unanchoringthem) is the bottom of the ladder; when I get more roles I'll move up into fueling and harvesting moon goo. Doesn't cost me anything but time and has a nice payoff potential.
