So, aside from the clinic not having scheduled a follow-up appointment for me as they said they would, the hegira downtown to the VA went very well. The doc is happy with the look of the wounds; evidently the twice-daily squeezing is having good results. (Thanks a lot for telling me to stop, Kaiser.) They didn't wrap me up in the Profore bandages again, thank God, which meant I didn't have to wear the clown shoes home and so could drive the Sportage in the style to which I have become accustomed. Managed to avoid the worst of rush-hour traffic, although getting from North Capitol Street through the Mall zone to either the Memorial or 14th Street Bridge is still no fun.
Anyway, I'm supposed to book an appointment with the vascular lab so they can take a look at my veins and decide whether one or more need to be stripped out for being worthless and weak, and a follow-up after that. October's going to be a busy month for me with regard to appointments, that's for sure.
Aside from that, I didn't get a lot done yesterday. Got home around 1530 and basically just collapsed in front of the computer until 2000 at which point I was falling asleep while ratting in EVE, which is a Bad Thing. Today will be consumed with job-hunting and related activities, also some grocery shopping to cover the stuff I forgot Wednesday. Maybe I'll get started on Stipple-APA, the latest disty of which arrived yesterday.
