So the plan for today, which is forecast to be appallingly hot as most Augusts here normally are, but so far haven't been (thank God for global warming ahahahahaha) is to hunker down in the apartment and wait for my bandages to get here. Once they are, I'm getting into the compression sleeves for an hour and then slipping on some "support stockings" so I can go float around in the pool for a while and let the chlorine whale on any bacteria that may be hanging around my wounds. Some thrashing around in the water may also happen, which will also be good for the legs.
Aside from that brief burst of activity, I'm not leaving this apartment unless the police come for me.
UPDATE: Bandages arrived ~1730, while I was getting stuck into dinner, so I never made it to the pool. Heat was dissipated by a mother-huge monsoon rainstorm that hit about 2200, even though I had to run out and shut the windows on the Sportage. Forget a remote engine starter; I need a remote window closer. :)
