Behind schedule, as usual

I really meant to be into work at 8 AM. I really did. Unfortunately, when the alarm went off at 6, I couldn't remember just why the hell I was getting up so early, so I reset the alarm for 7 and went back to sleep.

When I did finally get up, I was surprised to see Scott and Melody already awake. Turns out they had repacked the Kia, extracting much garbage and some things that we won't be needing in Fargo, and were expecting to go into town today with me, since the plan was to leave for downtown and head for Fargo. Unfortunately, since we got in at 10:30 last night, I didn't do any packing, and had forgotten to mention the change in plan. Just as well; we need to get cat food and fresh cat boxes anyway before we leave the creatures alone for the weekend.

Pretty minimal attendance last night - we very nearly had more pizza than people. Not much actual business got discussed, but we hung out for a couple of hours anyway, after which phoenixalpha and I swung by stuckintraffik's place since he'd brought all of the room party kit to the meeting except the all-important hard drive. That killed more time, and by the time I got home I was pretty much ready to crash, burn, and postpone packing until this afternoon, which I did.
