new depths of suck

You know, sometimes I think medical folks live in a totally different world than the rest of us. A world where one can work without pants, the better to adjust one's CircAids that take ten minutes each to put on every morning. *facepalm* Yeah, the physical therapist I saw today, the same one who prescribed these wretched devices, advised me that they had to be adjusted on a continuing basis as the swelling went down...which isn't really practical unless, as I said, one can work without pants. Forget going to the can and slipping out of the trews for the required adjustment; there's no place to hang my pants in there. So we'll see what happens. I'm pretty much resigned to going back to using the compression sleeves in order to get this crap out, since the CircAids are full of misery and fail.

Adding to my annoyance was her frobbing of the wound on my right leg. As God is my witness, I would have hurt her if I could have reached her, but every time she hit the sensitive spot on the right side I felt like I was going to throw up, so there went that plan. She thinks that spot is infected, but we'll see what a real doctor thinks.
