"Sick, lame, and lazy, fall out!"

Still unwell this morning but feeling somewhat better than yesterday. I don't think all the soup I had for lunch at Eddington's yesterday helped much; if anything, it may have aggravated matters by jacking up my blood sugar. Went to bed early last night again after a very light dinenr of sandwiches and salad and a minimum of time on the internet.

My registration for the fall term st St. Mary's is in; I have one class starting next week and another that starts in November, and hopefully I can do a better job with these than I did on my summer classes. The two classes I took in the second half of the sumemr term are still marked as "Incomplete" instead of "No Credit", so maybe I still have a shot at wrapping those up and getting at least a passing grade.

I haven't had a whole lot to say about politics of late. joel_rosenberg has been gleefully ripping into the daily disaster that Kerry's campaign has become, as has Mitch Berg, and they're doing a better job of it than I have the time for. I'll probably limit myself to getting a "W '04" sticker for the Sportage.

No real plans for this weekend. I told Josh that I was thinking of dropping by Kale's tomorrow afternoon since he was planning on visiting there, but that depends on how I'm feeling Saturday morning. There's laundry to be done, pots and pans to be cleaned, and my room could use some tidying up as well. We'll see what happens.

Well, if you feel up to it, you know you're welcome. Even got some new vids, so if you like, we can hook up the projector and run new videos as well. The apartment is even decently clean - something about a quarterly inspection or whatnot...

Oh, like I have room to complain about other peoples' lack of neatness? ^^ BTW, I found the map for IMPERIUM as well as the charts & rules, but I'm not sure if the rules are for my edition or stuff I downloaded for Third Edition IMPERIUM.

I did see it, but I Forgot. [/lame Steve Martin impression] I definitely want to see more Azumanga Daioh.

Azumanga Daioh returns next month. This month we'll be watching disc 2 of Abenobashi and finishing Please Teacher. I'll bring Azumanga Daioh with as a backup in case Aaron can't make it for some reason (he's bringing Abenobashi). I want to finish Please Teacher this month so we don't have a cliffhanger at the end of disc 3. You'll agree with my schedule planning when we watch it.

I'll be back at the apartment later this evening; I'll try and wash some pots and pans then.

Wow, you're going to St Mary's too? So that makes you, my dad, and my cousin who are all attending this school I had not even heard of until roughly a month ago. Small world.

Yeah...it's pretty weird how I wound up going there, since it was driven by pure sychronicity. With the exception of the summer term, it's been pretty good so far. The classes have been occasionally annoying (the repeated, obligatory slams at NCLB get up my nose) but almost always instructive. I started it with a "eh, I'm just getting my ticket punched" attitutde but now I'm 90% convinced I'm going to be a better teacher after going through this. Look out below, kiddies! BWAHAHAHA!
