...can die in a fire. This payday I drove out to Chantilly and received a stub in the mail, signifying that they had deposited my pay to my checking account. Which they had not. I knew from talking to Leo that he'd gotten his direct deposit, so something is badly fucked up here and can't be fixed until Monday. I suppose it's possible that the money will show up Monday morning, but at this point I have zero confidence that this will actually happen. I will not go into an exhaustive list of all the things I needed to do this weekend that have been derailed by this, because I feel crappy enough already.
