Tired and disorganized = weight gain

It wasn't a surprise that I gained weight last week, but it was a shock to realize that I'd added on five pounds. Not that I don't know where it came from; I stupidly stuffed myself last week on a number of occasions and didn't do nearly enough walking to offset all the food. I also didn't make nearly enough use of the Palm software to track what I was eating - in fact, I pretty much blew that off completely over the weekend, with predictable results.

Well, it's a new week. Time to start over.

Sometimes some weight gain is just because the food you've eaten recently hasn't gone through your system yet. After a meal you can often have 2-5 pounds of undigested food/beverages weighing you down temporarily. I generally weigh myself shortly after I get up in the morning so I'm doing it on an empty stomach and bladder. That's the most accurate way in my opinion.

That might be a possibility if it weren't for the fact that I don't eat that much for breakfast any more. Today, for example, I had toast and coffee; most days it's an English muffin, banana, and coffee. No, this is cumulative fuckwittery of the dietetic kind.
