I miss my wheels already.

Dropped off the Sportage at Lehman's this morning to get the fender replaced - and the new air filter installed. I'd have done the latter myself, but I don't have the tools. Unlike my K-car, the Sportage's air filter is bolted down next to the engine on the driver's side, or I would have just dealt with it myself back when I bought it.

After that, I refinanced the truck. Monthly payments will be a third lower, but the loan is for five years and carries a pretty heavy 17.75% interest rate attached. That's going to get paid down as quickly as I can manage...it's nice to have the extra money right now, and the Sportage will probably last another five years, but it would have been nice to get it paid off and drop the comprehensive insurance coverage. Oh well.

So...pretty slow week ahead. I think I'll fill the otherwise empty hours by bashing out procedures for the various AD departments and filing out paperwork for the impending siut against our present landlord. That'll mean a trip over to Government Center, which is going to have to happen tomorrow since I don't have time today.
