March 16th, 2009

eh, Monday

Yesterday went well enough despite the rough start. Laundry was done, bread baked, and I got to bed more or less on time.

I also managed to burn a new mix CD, mostly made up of recent downloads from Amazon, but in the process of weeding out defective files from Windows Media Player I accidentally nuked a bunch of stuff on the E: drive. Crap. I guess I'll have to sit down, figure out what's missing, and see if I have the necessary CDs to replace the missing files.

Got called in by the Night Job, which means I'll have at least a C-note to throw into the savings account for Detour, and speaking of the Night Job I need to wrap this up and get rolling.

UPDATE: There doesn't seem to be a schedule for us CSRs. Not only that, I could have scored yesterday's shift because BJ didn't show up, except nobody called. :(
Well, I guess I'll see what happens the rest of the week.

I should be used to this by now

Strong contender for one of the most retarded Fred quotes ever.
Hard to believe nobody has told him that production & warehouse work is most efficiently done by people whose talents lie in those areas, not by former architects trying to become top-flight mangaka. Meh. It's his life, but I still think he's being a moron, and not the right kind of moron either.

PS: Would somebody please remind me why in the Nine Hells I'm still following this webcomic? Because the more breaks he takes to work on peripheral shit, the harder it gets for me to remember. It's bad enough that I have to use an RSS feed to follow it.
