on my clock it is still sunday

Woke up at 0600 because phone was ringing. Downstairs. ARRGH. Tried to ignore phone since it was probably a wrong number since who the hell would call me at 0600 on Sunday? Gave up trying to roll over and get back to sleep when I heard obnoxious voice mail tone, went downstairs and listened to message: turned out to be RS informing me that he had taken P to the hospital, where they had given her two units of blood immediately before admitting her. I'm not going to go into details because it's really not my place. P can explain if she wants to when she wants to. Suffice it to say that I spent a good part of the day visiting P in the hospital and then riding with RS to see our friend Mr. B.

B is effectively confined to his house due to hideous back pain, which prevents him from driving or even walking without a walker, and even that latter is horribly painful. Back pain is to be treated with muscle relaxants...once B is off his blood thinners. :(

After all this I definitely needed something humorous, which RS supplied via this video.

Stopped by Wal-Mart on the way home to do the shopping I should have done yesterday, explained the deal to Mom & Carlos once I got home, wrote this and went to bed. The end.

Korean bakery also equals death, kthxsplat

Barely made it through the work day, don't remember driving home, do remember bribing niece $10 to do my laundry.
The Shilla Bakery on Little River Turnpike near the Crappy Kebab Joint is t3h sex. More awesome baked goods at cheap prices than the last konditorei I saw in the Federal Republic, plus a squad of hot Korean staff who smile like God's Own Flashbulb. I'd go back at least weekly but since I have no self-control there would be lots of 400+ blood sugar readings, insulin, comas, amputations, and eventually death, all of which would be bad. Anyway, skipping dinner since I obviously don't need it and settling in for 10+ hours of sleep.
