Thanksgiving
Looks like we lucked out and drew one last nice day for Thanksgiving - it's 54 degrees out there right now, the sun is shining, and you can see for miles. P and I are heading out to Mystic Lake for Thanksgiving - we both have decent kitchens and most of the raw materials for the traditional dinner, but tables and chairs are lacking. So we'll let the casino buffet do the cooking, since they do such an awesome job.
There's a lot to be thankful for today, but so much of it is summed up in the song "Living In The U.S.A." - don't care whether it's the James Brown or the Linda Ronstadt version, frankly. I'm not where I want to be in my life, but I'm getting closer every day.
Have a happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Take a few minutes to remember how this all started, sometime between the food and the football, and give thanks.
