Adventures in vein therapy

So this morning I started PT at North Memorial to ease my troubled legs. Once again it was a cast-iron bitch getting there through the morning rush hour, with 169 proving to be just as miserable as 100, and I arrived half an hour late. No matter; the therapist flogged my thoracic lymph nodes and then bandaged both legs from the toes to the knees. I now feel like I have casts on both legs; I certainly have the strap-on shoes to match. This makes walking very awkward and slow, but nonetheless I parked the Kia in he Butler Square ramp and caught a couple of downtown buses to work, where of course there is a whole pile of stuff waiting for me.

I'm feeling very tired today, probably because I couldn't get to sleep last night until about 3 AM...usually it takes me a day or so to get back into a regular sleep rhythm after a convention, and this one was no exception. I'm not even hungry for lunch, though that could well change in an hour.
