In contrast to the stupefying boredom that has been work this past week, this weekend is going to be insanely busy and involve a lot of driving all over the damn landscape. After work I'm going to a farewell party for one of the other accountants, which will be followed by a viewing of Sin City either down here at Block E or somewhere out in the 'burbs, depending on whether Josh wants to come downtown or not, I guess. It better not run too late into the night, because...

Tomorrow morning I need to get up early and start laundry so that it's in the dryer before 0915, which is when the draft or my Yahoo! league starts. (The response to the posts calling for managers in a Twin Cities-based anime/SF league was nonexistent. Sorry, guys.) That should be wrapped up in an hour or two, which should give me time to make it downtown to MCAD for the ATC Annual Meeting, which will be followed by the second half of the staff post-mortem, and then I think I'll grab some dinner before stopping in at the MNSTF meeting over at Carol Kennedy's, unless I decide to just call it a day and go home so I can get some writing done.

Sunday would be open, but I need to write, especially if I haven't done anything on Saturday. Did I mention I still haven't gotten around to doing my taxes? Argggh.

April 9 has a StippleAPA collation scheduled for the afternoon and the housewarming over at windelina's place. Something else will no doubt come along to fill the remaining weekends, since Detour needs to move its stuff from the Apple Valley storage locker to the new locker in Bloomington and we also need to have a Volunteer Party. So much to do and so few weekends...
