Dumb questions of the week

Hot Air » Hillary: Let the babies starve until we fund abortions:
Does Hillary Clinton think it is more important to promote liberal Western ideologies than to address the critical needs of the women and children of Africa and Asia? Does she prefer to promote the tired, old eugenic orthodoxies of the largely discredited population-control movement? Is Hillary Clinton — and the Obama administration — willing to hold up funding for maternal and infant health because of a dogmatic commitment to a universal right to abortion on demand?

Are these rhetorical questions? Do these people have no familiarity with the Clinton and Obama record and current policy on these issues? Anyone who is surprised at any of these shenanigans is too innocent to be reporting on politics in this day and age. Maybe too innocent to be reporting on anything in America.

You know, it's funny, but I wonder what the Chinese would have to say about "discredited population-control", as a movement or as a policy.

Who cares? Here in the US, it's a losing issue for most politicians. Why do you think it's been reframed as "reproductive rights"?

Leaving the previously mentioned issue aside, it's granted that abortion rights really need to be put farther back on the stove than, say, clean, well-staffed facilities, food, medicine, etc. Bringing up abortion before safe childbirth is clearly a case of foot-in-mouth disease.

This administration suffers from an endemic case of that. Who knew Joe Biden's affliction was that contagious?

When the Bamster started spitting out random bits and pieces of crap that I'm sure he never wanted to say ('my muslim faith' comes to mind), I'd say, it's highly contagious.

I hope it stays that way too!
